As Mother’s Day approaches, we want to take a moment to celebrate all who nurture,

support, guide, and care for others.

To mothers, grandmothers, step-mothers, caregivers, mentors, aunts, neighbors, teachers — and anyone who has ever taken on a mother-type mantle in someone’s life — we celebrate you.

You are the listeners. The encouragers. The helpers.The steady presence when someone needs strength, comfort, or understanding.

And today, we want to thank you for something else too.

Thank you for showing up here at Working On Wellness Foundation and taking a little time to care for yourself.

So many of you spend your lives caring for others. Every time you join a class, move your body, exercise your brain, or stay for community time, you are making an important choice — investing in your own health, strength, and wellbeing.

Self-care is not selfish.It is necessary.And you deserve it.
